Michael Israel - Partner

Michael Israel began his career in 2000 at Paribas in Paris. In 2001, he joined Rothschild & Co for five years. In 2005, Michael joined Merrill Lynch to head a credit investment team specialized in special situations opportunities offered to private and institutionnal investors. His team covered a broad range of credit products with a specific focus on structured credit, global high yield and emerging market corporate debt with an AUM of $500 millions. Upon leaving Merrill Lynch in 2012, Michael founded IVO Capital Partners with Roland Vigne and Sidney Oury, two long time working and personnal relationships. Michael holds a master degree in Financial market from the Toulouse Business School. Michael co-manages the IVO Fixed Income UCITS fund with Roland Vigne. He is also part of the litigation finance Investment Commitee.


Roland Vigne

Roland Vigne - Partner

Roland Vigne began his Latin America career in 2000 at Scotia Capital in Mexico in the investment banking department. In 2005, he joined Merrill Lynch in Mexico and later transferred to New York to work as a Debt   Prop Trader. At Merrill Lynch, he was part of a team responsible for a portfolio of a $1b of corporate and structured debt portfolio. In 2009 he joined Nomura Securities in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as Executive Director and assisted Oil & Gas companies in their capital raising and especially in the issuance of structured debt. He holds a master degree from the Toulouse Business School and an MBA in Financial Markets from Arizona State University. Roland co-manages the IVO Fixed Income UCITS fund with Michael Israel. He is also part of the litigation finance Investment Commitee.


Sidney Oury

Sidney Oury - Partner

Sidney Oury began his career in 2004 at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Paris Technology & Information department. Before founding IVO Capital Partners in 2012, Sidney spent 7 years at Merrill Lynch in New York, Geneva and Paris. He was then First Vice President specialized in asset allocation with a specific focus on global bonds asset management. Fixed Income asset management. As Managing Partner of IVO Capital Partners, Sidney is mainly focused on the strategic business development. Sidney graduated with a Master's degree from Neoma Business School in Financial Markets.


Marion Bougel - Secrétaire Générale

Marion joined IVO Capital Partners in March 2018 as Secretary general. Previously, she spent 7 years at Ricol Lasteyrie Corporate Finance (Ernst & Young) as an expert in corporate finance, financial valuation, damages expertise in the context of litigation and arbitration and regulatory advice and risk management in the context of transactions. Prior to this experience, Marion spent and 8 years in the Accounting and Auditing Division at the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) including a three-year secondment to the Secretariat of the Committee of European Securities Regulators (ESMA). At IVO, Marion has a transverse function and she supervises the legal, the financial and the HR department. Because of its experience in litigation valuation damages, Marion is also member of the IVO Litigation Funds Investment Comittee. She is a graduate of ESCP and certified French public accountant. 

Nicolas Cressot

Nicoas Cressot - Trading Desk

Nicolas Cressot holds a Master’s degree (M2) from ESCP Europe with specializations in Financial Engineering and Wealth Management. He began his career in 2011 in the private bank Bordier & Cie in Paris. He also has internship experience in the Wealth Management departments of Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch. Nicolas gained international exposure through semesters abroad in Shanghai, Dublin and Madrid. In November 2013, Nicolas joined IVO Capital as Financial Advisor in charge of portfolio monitoring. Nicolas is part of the investment committee and also supervises trade execution.


Romain Lippe

Romain Lippe - Financial Advisor

Romain Lippe holds a Master’s degree (M2) in Quantitative Finance (104) from Université Paris Dauphine. After several experiences in private and investment banking, namely in the equity derivatives sales team at Société Générale CIB, he began his career in 2011 in the Equities and Fixed Income Derivatives Sales and Structuring team at JP Morgan in London. In 2012, he joined the exotic and derivatives products desk at Sunrise Brokers, London. In 2013, he joined IVO Capital as Financial Advisor in charge of business development.

Charlotte Vermer - Institutional Sales - Europe

Charlotte Vermer graduated from Solvay Business School in Belgium and holds a Master Degree in Real Estate and Wealth Management in France (IMPI at BEM/Kedge Business School). She started her career at the end of the 90’s in the trading rooms of UBS Warburg and Morgan Stanley in London and Paris. At the time, she was selling Credit Flow products (corporate/bank debt and CDS) to clients located in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. She then spent 5 years at Euroclear Bank, in the Account Management department in Brussels. In 2012, back in Paris, she joined METROPOLE Gestion, a French boutique specialized in Value Investing (AuM 6bn), in charge of distributing a range of equities funds to clients in Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Charlotte joined IVO Capital Partners in April 2017 to promote the asset-management capabilities of the firm towards French and international institutional clients.


Romain Lacoste

Romain Lacoste - Analyst / Research

Romain holds an MSc in Management with a major in Finance from ESSEC Business School. After several internships in investment banking, including in Societe Generale CIB’s Trade Finance Department, where he participated in the implementation of discounting agreements for €200 mln, Romain joined IVO Capital Partners in September 2014 as a financial analyst. Romain works full-time on the IVO Fixed Income UCITS fund. He is based in Mexico where he works closely with Roland. Romain’s main focus is corporate credit analysis and meetings with portfolio companies. Romain is also part of the investment committee and is CFA Level III candidate.



Hugo Mathecowitsch - Financial Advisor

Hugo Mathecowitsch holds a Master’s degree from EDHEC Business School’s London campus and an Alternative Investments Certificate from the London School of Economics & Political Sciences. He began his career as a performance analyst within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris, and then worked in the Asset & Wealth division of Deutsche Bank in Luxembourg. He subsequently joined the alternative investments team of Lombard Odier in Geneva. In 2013, he joined Victoire to expand the firm internationally, developing LatAm equity strategies out of São Paulo and an Asian small cap strategy out of Hong Kong. Hugo joined IVO Capital Partners in 2016 as an Advisor to assist the company in its business development efforts.



Hugo Lestiboudois

Hugo Lestiboudois - Analyst

Hugo holds Master’s degrees from EDHEC Business School with specializations in Financial Economics and Quantitative Finance. He began his career at BlackRock in  London within BlackRock Solutions. In 2015 he joined a UK affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management LP on the distressed debt portfolio management desk, working mainly on European non-performing loan transactions. Before joining IVO, Hugo was working as an investment analyst in structured and distressed credit for AgFe LLP, a private debt fund manager and advisory boutique in London. Hugo joined IVO in the summer of 2017 to focus on structured finance transactions and litigation finance investments.


Romira Andrade - Executive Assistant

Romira studied linguistic cursus at University Paris X then continued her studies at New York NCCC in social science and humanities. She began her professional career in 2012 within the law firm CBR & Associates in Paris. Romira joined IVO Capital Partners team in June 2017 as the EA / office manager.
