Michael Israel - Partner

Michael Israel began his career in 2000 at Paribas in Paris. In 2001, he joined Rothschild & Co for five years. In 2005, Michael joined Merrill Lynch to head a credit investment team specialized in special situations opportunities offered to private and institutionnal investors. His team covered a broad range of credit products with a specific focus on structured credit, global high yield and emerging market corporate debt with an AUM of $500 millions. Upon leaving Merrill Lynch in 2012, Michael founded IVO Capital Partners with Roland Vigne and Sidney Oury, two long time working and personnal relationships. Michael holds a master degree in Financial market from the Toulouse Business School. Michael co-manages the IVO Fixed Income UCITS fund with Roland Vigne. He is also part of the litigation finance Investment Commitee. 

Roland Vigne

Roland Vigne - Partner

Roland Vigne began his Latin America career in 2000 at Scotia Capital in Mexico in the investment banking department. In 2005, he joined Merrill Lynch in Mexico and later transferred to New York to work as a Debt Prop Trader. At Merrill Lynch, he was part of a team responsible for a portfolio of a $1b of corporate and structured debt portfolio. In 2009 he joined Nomura Securities in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as Executive Director and assisted Oil & Gas companies in their capital raising and especially in the issuance of structured debt. He holds a master degree from the Toulouse Business School and an MBA in Financial Markets from Arizona State University. Roland co-manages the IVO Fixed Income UCITS fund with Michael Israel. He is also part of the litigation finance Investment Commitee.

Sidney Oury

Sidney Oury - Partner

Sidney Oury co-founded IVO Capital Partners in 2012. Sidney is currently in charge of the advisory and discretionary managed portfolio activities and manages the structured debt business development. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch, firstly in New York within the Foreign office Asset Management team, then in Geneva and Paris, in the global high yield and emerging market corporate debt advisory team. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris in 2004 within the audit team dedicated to new technologies. Sidney holds a master degree from Neoma Business School and a Bachelor from Lyon II University.

Nicolas Cressot - Trading Desk

Nicolas Cressot holds a Master’s degree (M2) in Financial Engineering and an Msc in Wealth Management from ESCP Europe. After several internships in international companies like Credit Suisse or Merrill Lynch he began his career in 2011 within the family owned bank Bordier & Cie in Paris. Nicolas completed most of his studies abroad in Shanghai, Dublin or Madrid. In November 2013, Nicolas joined IVO Capital Partners as head of trading desk and manage private mandate. Amongst others Nicolas is in charge of all the trade for IVO Fixed Income funds and is part of the investment committee.

Hadrien Teissedre - Middle-Office

Hadrien Teissedre holds a Master's degree (M2) in Finance from the ISC Paris Business School. He completed part of his studies abroad, including a semester in Ecuador or a year in Canada. Before joining IVO Capital Partners, Hadrien worked for two years at CACEIS as a middle office manager. He has also completed several internships, both in large companies (CACEIS, LCL) and in human-sized structures (accounting and audit firm or asset management firm). He joined IVO Capital Partners at the beginning of 2019 as Head of Middle Office.

Romain Lippe

Romain Lippe - Institutional & Advisory Sales

Romain Lippe holds a Master’s degree (M2) in Quantitative Finance graduated from the Master 104 of Paris Dauphine University. He began his career in 2009 in the Equity derivatives sales team at Société Générale CIB, before joining in 2011 the Equity and Fixed Income Derivatives Sales and Structuring team at JP Morgan in London. In 2013, he joined the executive office of the UK broker Sunrise Brokers to develop the business of trading exotic products with major investment banks. He joined IVO Capital in 2014 as sales developer for listed and unlisted strategies.


Romain Lacoste

Romain Lacoste - Analyst

Romain holds an Msc in Management in Finance from ESSEC Grande Ecole. After several internships in investment banking, notably at Société Générale CIB in Trade Finance, where he participated in the implementation of discount agreements for more than 200 million dollars, Romain joined IVO Capital Partners in September 2014 as a financial analyst. Romain works exclusively with the IVO Fixed Income fund. He is based in Mexico City and works closely with Roland Vigne. His work mainly consists of analysing and meeting the companies in the portfolio. Romain is a member of the Fund's investment committee, holds an MSC in Management Filière Finance from ESSEC Grande Ecole and is a candidate for a level III CFA.   

Hugo Lestiboudois

Hugo Lestiboudois - Investment Manager - Private Debt 

Hugo holds Master’s degrees from EDHEC Business School with specializations in Financial Economics and Quantitative Finance. He began his career at BlackRock in  London within BlackRock Solutions. In 2015 he joined a UK affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management LP on the distressed debt portfolio management desk, working mainly on European non-performing loan transactions. Before joining IVO, Hugo was working as an investment analyst in structured and distressed credit for AgFe LLP, a private debt fund manager and advisory boutique in London. Hugo joined IVO in the summer of 2017 to focus on structured finance transactions and litigation finance investments.

Nicolas Cressot

Maelys Lecrivain - Analyst / Head of ESG ISR

Maelys Lecrivain holds a Master 2 in Financial Management from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She joined IVO Capital in September 2018, after starting her career at BNP Paribas Asset Management as a Junior Investment Specialist in environmental SRI funds and then as a Junior Financial Analyst in solidarity private equity funds. Based in Mexico City, she coordinated the development and implementation of the new responsible investment policy. Since December 2019, she has combined her position as Financial Analyst High Yield with that of Head of Sustainability. Maelys has obtained the Responsible Investment Essentials certification from the UN PRI.

Nicolas Cressot

Paul de Beauchef de Servigny – Analyst / Legal Officer

Paul holds a master's degree in French and English business law and a master's degree in comparative business law from the University of Paris X. He also holds a Master's degree in LLM from the University of Berkeley in California and has been admitted to the New York Bar since July 2018. After several internships in law firm teams, notably at Ayache Salama in Paris in Corporate and M&A where he participated in numerous corporate finance and sales transactions, followed by a VIE at Société Générale CIB in New York as part of the Global Finance COO teams, Paul joined IVO Capital Partners in October 2018 as a legal analyst. Paul focuses mainly on the analysis and monitoring of litigation financing transactions with Hugo Lestiboudois.


Marion Bougel - General Secretary

Marion joined IVO Capital Partners in March 2018 as Secretary general. Previously, she spent 7 years at Ricol Lasteyrie Corporate Finance (Ernst & Young) as an expert in corporate finance, financial valuation, damages expertise in the context of litigation and arbitration and regulatory advice and risk management in the context of transactions. Prior to this experience, Marion spent and 8 years in the Accounting and Auditing Division at the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) including a three-year secondment to the Secretariat of the Committee of European Securities Regulators (ESMA). At IVO, Marion has a transverse function and she supervises the legal, the financial and the HR department. Because of its experience in litigation valuation damages, Marion is also member of the IVO Litigation Funds Investment Comittee. She is a graduate of ESCP and certified French public accountant. 

Nicolas Cressot

Amina Labjioui – Legal Function

Amina holds a Master 2 degree in Finance, Audit and Management from the Paris School of Business. In 2014, she began her career in work-study at La Poste for two years as a Management Controller. She then worked at PwC for three years as a Senior Financial Auditor specialising in investment funds and real estate. She joined IVO in 2019 in the administrative and financial department.

Stéphanie Petit – Office Manager

Stéphanie is a graduate of the European Business School in Lyon. She started her professional career in 2010 and has worked in different sectors, allowing her to have a global vision in the company. Quadrilingual (French, English, Spanish, Portuguese and English) she joined IVO Capital Partners' offices in Mexico in April 2018.
