Jacob Lithgow

Jacob joined IVO Capital in March 2026 to lead the development of institutional relationships in Canada and North America.

Before joining IVO Capital, Jacob spent more than 10 years at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) in Montreal, where he was responsible for selecting and monitoring external managers across a wide range of liquid strategies, including hedge funds, international equities, and emerging market debt. Over the years, he has developed in-depth knowledge of financial markets and expertise in institutional due diligence while collaborating with the world’s leading investors.

Based between Paris and Montreal, Jacob draws on an extensive network of institutional investors and asset managers across North America, Europe, and emerging markets. His experience as an institutional investor provides IVO Capital with an in-depth understanding of the expectations, selection processes, and strategic challenges specific to major international asset allocators.

He holds a DESS in Financial Professions from HEC Montréal.
