This new vintage, Article 8 SFDR, targets assets under management of 150 million euros, and aims to invest in over 40 different types of litigation, mainly in Europe, confirming IVO Capital Partners&#8217; status as a benchmark on the continent. This launch comes against a backdrop of strong growth in the European market, stimulated by the Damages Directive, the rise of mass litigation in RGPD, consumer protection and competition matters, and the continuing rise in procedural costs, all of which are creating an increased need for third-party financing.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A fourth vintage confirming the expertise and experience of IVO Capital Partners&#8217; teams, who specialize in European litigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IVO Legal Strategies Fund IV is targeting \u20ac150 million, and will be invested primarily in continental Europe, notably in France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Portugal. Article 8 SFDR, the fund&#8217;s ambition is to build a diversified portfolio, including complex commercial litigation, arbitration, indemnity actions &#8211; notably related to cartels or the protection of personal data, within the framework of collective or individual actions. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since launching its first litigation financing fund in 2014, IVO Capital Partners has already raised and invested over \u20ac200 million. The company has financed nearly 90 cases worldwide, with a growing share in continental Europe (40% of cases financed overall, and up to 80% for the third vintage). The launch of the third fund, <g id=\"gid_0\">IVO Legal Strategies Fund III<\/g>, marked an acceleration in the pace of investment, in line with the rapid growth in demand for financing observed on the European market. IVO Capital Partners is also an active member of the <em>European Litigation Funders Association<\/em> and the <em>International Litigation Funders Association<\/em>, demonstrating its key role in the development and structuring of the industry.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A fast-growing European market<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the rise of compensation actions, particularly in competition and data protection law (RGPD) and consumer law, where post-amendment redress has become widespread, continental Europe today represents a major source of opportunity. The implementation of the Damages Directive (2014\/104\/EU) has indeed facilitated access to justice for victims of cartels and abuses of dominant position, while the RGPD has opened the way to massive compensation actions in data protection matters. On a global scale, litigation costs have risen from 279 billion USD in 2023 to an estimated 360 billion USD in 2028.
